Condor (DE, Frankfurt Int’l) has wet-leased a B737-400 LY-GTW (msn 24166) from a Lithuanian ACMI/charter provider GetJet Airlines (GJT, Vilnius) and will be deploying the aircraft out of each of Cologne/Bonn and Leipzig/Halle to Palma Son Sant Joan through June 14, 2018, ch-aviation research has revealed. The unit was repositioned from Vilnius to Cologne/Bonn on April 26, 2018, and was deployed into revenue service the day after, Flightradar24 ADS-B data shows. The Boeing narrowbody jet had been previously wet-leased to Air Malta. The German leisure specialist has also been wet-leasing a B757-200 EC-ISY (msn 26241) from Spain’s Privilege Style (P6, Palma Son Sant Joan) under a two-week contract since April 30. The aircraft is based out of Dusseldorf and operates a number of Mediterranean routes. Finally, Condor has also been wet-leasing an A330-200 CS-TQP (msn 211) from Portugal’s Hi Fly (5K, Lisbon) since April, also under a two-week contract. The aircraft is based out of Leipzig/Halle. However, the carrier ended a wet-leasing contract with Titan Airways covering a B757-200 G-ZAPX (msn 29309) on April 29, 2018, following which the unit has been repositioned back to the United Kingdom. According to the ch-aviation fleets module, Condor is currently also wet-leasing one A321 from Air Berlin Aviation (a part of airberlin group taken over by Condor’s parent, Thomas Cook Group), as well as five A320-200s from Avion Express.
